PLEASE NOTE THIS PROPERTY IS SEASONAL AND CLOSED FOR WINTER. LOCATION: Just a 15min drive from Lake Louise, the only property located on Moraine Lake, located within the Valley of the Ten Peaks. ROOM STYLES: Please note that Moraine Lake Lodge welcomes children 8 years and older. Rocky Mountain interiors in rich earth colors grace the rooms and cabins at Moraine Lake Lodge. Every room and cabin has an outdoor deck for viewing the serenity and beauty of Moraine Lake and the surrounding mountains. All cabins and rooms offer custom designed, hand-crafted log furniture and true Canadian Rocky Mountain comfort - luxurious down duvets, fine Woolrich blankets and pillows, plus beautifully appointed bathrooms with soaker tubs. In keeping with our mountain get-away experience, there are no telephones or televisions in any of the rooms. For guests who must keep in touch with the outside world, a guest phone and Internet access is available in the lobby area. Deluxe King or Twin Cabin: These new deluxe cabins offer a king or twin size beds, heritage fir wood floors, upgraded bathrooms, and sunken living area surrounding a river rock wood burning fireplace. Wenkchemna Wing: Wenkchemna Wing rooms offer one queen bed and a river rock wood burning fireplace. King Cabins: Cabins offer one king size bed and sunken living area surrounding a river rock wood burning fireplace. Lodge Double Rooms: Lodge Double rooms in the Main Lodge offer two double beds. Adjoining Rooms available. Lodge Queen Rooms: Lodge Queen rooms on the upper floor of the Main Lodge offer one queen bed and an antique gas fireplace. Adjoining Rooms available. Honeymoon Suite: The Premier room on the upper floor of the main lodge offers true Canadian Lodge heritage; beautiful hand hewn Douglas Fir post and beam construction, river rock wood burning fireplace, one king bed and a luxurious bathroom with jetted Jacuzzi tub. DINING: Moraine Lake Lodge proudly features two dining facilities offering everything from quick snacks to full-service breakfast, lunch and gourmet dinners. One of the top gourmet restaurants in Banff National Park, the Walter Wilcox Dining Room at Moraine Lake Lodge offers a unique, elegant menu showcasing the best cuisine from the region. Signature dishes include buffalo carpacchio with roasted pine nuts and deer tenderloin with red currants and juniper berries. Wine-lovers will delight in the impressive wine cellar, including Canadian and American vintages. Graced by a large stone fireplace and an elegant Rocky Mountain interior, views of Moraine Lake through the massive windows in the atrium provide a spectacular vista. Reservations are highly recommended, though walk-ins are welcomed when space permits. For overnight guests, complimentary afternoon tea, coffee and fresh baked pastries are served between 3:00pm and 5:00pm every day in the comfortable surroundings of the library. The library also has a selection of newspapers, magazines and games available to our guests. FACILITIES: Unlimited canoeing on Moraine Lake. Access to guided hikes to various areas surrounding Moraine Lake Lodge with onstaff naturalist guide. Afternoon tea/coffee and fresh baked pastries in the library. Interpretive guide presentation three nights a week in the library with complimentary wine. PARKING: Complimentary outdoor parking. ADULT: An adult is considered to be 8+ years. TAXES: Please note all taxes (Good & Services Tax - GST, Alberta Room Tax - ART and Tourism Improvement Fees TIF) are included in the prices. DEPOSIT/CANCELLATION POLICY: First night deposit required. For cancellations 30 days or less a fee of $75 is required or 1st night + tax as cancellation fee.
