Alpine Helicopters offers the most spectacular sightseeing tours in the heart of the Canadian Rocky Mountains. Our full service tourist facility is located at the Canmore Municipal Heli-port which is at the base of the world famous Three Sisters Peaks and adjacent to Banff National Park. Our heli-tours provide you with unparalleled views of the Park. Join us for a “once in a lifetime experience.”
 
All tours are exclusive of the Goods and Services Tax (5%) and require a minimum of 2 passengers.
 
If you are looking for something other than what our programmed tours offer, fully customizable Private Charters can also be arranged. Please just give us a call and we will work with you to create your perfect event or outing.

SPRAY LAKES TOUR:

MT. ASSINIBOINE GLACIER TOUR:
This sensational flight will transport you to "The Matterhorn of the Canadian Rockies", which rises majestically to 3,611 meters (11,870 feet) along the Great Divide. ALPINE HIKE
Take the time to discover natural alpine landscapes and high mountain vistas on an Alpine Helicopters hike. Feel free to explore while your experienced guide provides knowledgeable commentary on the areas of geography and flora and fauna. This excursion offers a 9 minute scenic helicopter flight to a secluded area high above the Bow River Valley and 3 to 4 hours of hiking, with a pace and distance covered depending entirely on the ability of the group.

Alpine Helicopters has been offering safe, efficient and cost effective helicopter operations since 1961 when its first base of operations opened in Calgary, Alberta.  It has now evolved into a world class company, with 5 locations in Western Canada, specializing in Tourism, Heli-Skiing, Wildfire Management, Back-Country Rescue and all facets of commercial helicopter operations.

Our fleet of 35 Bell Helicopters has a reputation for safety, maintenance and quality service that is second to none.  Our affiliation with Alpine Aerotech, a Platinum Certified Bell Customer Service Facility, provides Alpine with ready access to industry leading, comprehensive helicopter support and aircraft maintenance services.

Alpine Helicopters’ Safety Management System includes all aspects of flight safety, maintenance safety, flight line and ramp safety, fire prevention, industrial safety, safe defensive driving, hazardous material safety and security.  We support all requirements of law regarding safety, and strive to provide a safe and healthy work and operating environment.

Our objective is to proactively manage identifiable risks and to eliminate or reduce all accidentally caused injury to personnel and damage to equipment or property.  We accomplish this through ongoing examination of our operational hazards and systematic review of our policies and procedures to mitigate risk.  This proactive risk management approach to safety allows us to identify potential hazards and modify our approach before an incident occurs.

Alpine’s safety culture is promoted through responsibility and accountability at all levels within the organization and we are committed to continuous improvement of our Safety Management System through the implementation of industry best practices and through regular, comprehensive internal and 3rd party audits.
