Athabasca Glacier IceWalks

Join a guided interpretive Icewalk hike onto the Columbia Icefield, where you can experience the active glacier - deep fissures in the glacier, blocks of ice several stories high and meltwater stream flows. Suitable for reasonably fit persons from 6-75yrs.
Icewalks operate daily from June first to September 30.

Guided interpretive hikes onto the Athabasca Glacier are designed for anyone with a desire to see and discover the world of glacier ice. Specially trained glacier guides will ensure that you are capable, properly outfitted and led safely across the glacier.

ICE CUBED
This three to four hour walk explores the lower half of the Athabasca Glacier and offers superb views of glacial features, ice carved landscapes and other alpine glaciers.
Daily, 10:40 A.M., departing promptly at 11:00 AM., except Sundays and Thursdays (check the Icewalk Deluxe section for events on those days)
Duration: 3-4 hours
Adults: $60.00 CDN
Children: 7-16 years, $30.00

ICEWALK DELUXE
These hikes are for those who wish to see as much as possible of the world of glacier ice on a full day trip. They are relatively strenuous. Due to snow and ice conditions they may not begin until early July. Sundays and Thursdays 10:40 AM, departing promptly at 11:00 AM.,
