CMH Heli Skiing out of Kootenay is in two ranges, the Selkirks and the Monashees. Most of its runs weave in and out of old growth forests blessed with abundant snow. Access to the ski areas is from several staging points. Offering 3, 4 and 5 day trips.

Accommodations are at the Kuskanax and Tenderfoot Lodges in the centre of Nakusp. Both lodges are owned and operated by CMH, and provide great service in an extraordinarily friendly and charming atmosphere.
